I don’t like summer.
I don’t like the heat.
Sticky skin, mosquitoes, sweat.
Not for me.
 
But there’s a part of it I love.
Green everywhere.
The beach.
A cold glass of lemonade after the sun.
 
I love citrus.
That bright, sparkling feeling.
Like the sun, just without the extreme heat.
 
Calabria, in the south of Italy, is one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen.
Clear water, endless nature.
The kind of place that almost makes me crave summer.
 
When creating 13:01 in Calabria,
I wanted to capture that feeling.
 
I wanted to bottle up the sun.
 
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a story with a similar idea.
Not with the sun, but something close.
 
I know it sounds impossible,
but you’ll only know once you try it.
